Role Description

Senior Network Engineer

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in a Network Operations Engineer role.
CCNA certification required; CCNP certification or actively working towards it is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of:

Branch & Data Centre Switching & Routing
Wireless technologies (setup, troubleshooting, security)
Enterprise Firewalls, especially CheckPoint and Palo Alto
Internet routing and security
Common interior and exterior routing protocols
Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN technologies
Proxy technologies such as Bluecoat or McA
Load Balancers
IP Address management and network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP)
Network management, monitoring, and diagnostic tools
Network probes and packet capture analysis

Excellent English communication skills.

Additional Preferred Skills

Experience working within the ITIL framework.
Familiarity with ServiceNow.
Knowledge of voice, video, and audio-visual solutions.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with a global, multi-location cross-functional team in a dynamic environment.
Play a key role in maintaining and advancing our technical network estate.
Focus primarily on operational and sustaining engineering tasks, with involvement in change and project work as needed.
Work closely with teams including Service Desk, Platforms, Information Security, and End User Services.
Proactively manage incidents, problems, and issues, adhering to SLAs and OLAs.
Serve as a technical resource for change requests, project work, maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch cycles.
Follow documented Standard Operating Procedures and use ServiceNow to update incidents and requests.
Stay informed on the technology roadmap for existing and emerging technologies.
Participate in shift work, weekend duties, and on-call rotations as required.
