Senior Merchandiser

As a Senior Merchandiser, your role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and analysis of retail merchandising strategies. You will ensure that retail and online stores are stocked with the right products in the right quantities. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the development of new product concepts and collaborating with finance analysts to prepare budgets for planned cash margin growth. - Analyze sales data to identify best-selling lines and develop effective promotional strategies. - Provide valuable insights on merchandising strategy, including range options, depth, and size recommendations. - Manage order follow-ups and sample coordination by working closely with customers and vendors. - Communicate effectively with suppliers and buyers by preparing meeting agendas and coordinating discussions. - Stay updated on market trends, assess sales tendencies, and engage with customers to understand their needs. - Maintain product details, merchandise files, and order sheets. - Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure timely dispatch and deliveries. - Meet with clients virtually or during sales visits to demonstrate and present products. - Establish new business relationships, maintain accurate records, attend trade exhibitions and conferences. - Review sales performance, negotiate contracts, and packages. - Proven experience in retail merchandising or a similar role. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data effectively. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.,
