Senior Merchandiser

The ideal candidate should have 7-10 years of experience and be ready to collaborate with buyers and designers to comprehend product requirements and specifications. You will be responsible for managing the complete merchandising process, from order confirmation to shipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards, cost control, and lead times. It will be your duty to prepare and monitor Time and Action (T&A) plans to maintain timely deliveries. Coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and production units will be crucial for seamless execution. Proactively resolving production or supply chain-related issues and conducting vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and ethical sourcing standards will also be part of your role. You must make sure that product quality aligns with buyer expectations and industry standards, working closely with the quality assurance team to implement inspection and testing procedures. Assisting in planning seasonal product assortments, forecasting demand, and providing market insights to enhance product development and sales will be essential. Moreover, you will need to prepare costing reports and support price negotiations to optimize profitability.
