About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in hydraulic systems and cylinder design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing hydraulic components, assemblies, and systems, ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop hydraulic cylinders, components, and systems according to project requirements.

Perform conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

Conduct engineering calculations, stress analysis, and tolerance studies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for manufacturing feasibility, quality assurance, and cost optimization.

Prepare BOMs, technical drawings, and design documentation.

Work closely with suppliers for component selection and technical clarification.

Support prototype development, testing, and validation.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in mechanical design, with specialization in hydraulic systems and cylinders.

Strong knowledge of fluid power principles, seals, and material selection.

Proficiency in 3D & 2D CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).

Experience in manufacturing processes, machining, and fabrication.

Good understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and design for manufacturability.

Problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and reliability.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
