Job Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee the development, execution, and optimization of marketing strategies aimed at promoting our IT software and services. This role will involve leading a team, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and executive teams, and driving initiatives that enhance brand visibility, demand generation, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B technology marketing, deep knowledge of digital marketing channels, and a proven track record in delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the companys
business objectives.
- Drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention initiatives across various channels. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to ensure the marketing strategy is relevant and impactful.
Campaign Management:
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution, including digital, content, events, email marketing, and social media.
- Monitor campaign performance, providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership to measure ROI. Continuously optimize campaigns based on key metrics like conversion rates, engagement, and lead quality.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee the execution of SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media strategies to increase online visibility. Manage the companys website and digital presence, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
- Leverage data analytics tools to monitor website traffic, customer behavior, and campaign performance.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales goals and product offerings. Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure timely and cost-effective campaign delivery.
Content Development & Thought Leadership:
- Position the company as a thought leader in the IT software and services industry through content and speaking opportunities at industry events.
Education:
- Masters degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role in an IT software and services company. Proven success in B2B marketing, particularly in the IT/technology sector.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content strategy. Experience in demand generation, lead nurturing, and customer retention strategies.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and creating compelling content. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Ability to analyze data, understand key metrics, and use insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Understanding of web development basics, including content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Previous experience managing large-scale events, trade shows, or webinars.
