Job Description

The Advisors & Consulting Services group at our company specializes in Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. As a Marketing consultant, your role will involve leading the strategy development and implementation of campaigns and engagements for our clients. Utilizing customer data, you will offer deep direct marketing expertise across various channels, evaluate campaign results, and adjust strategies to optimize marketing performance. In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead complex client engagements spanning different industries and problem statements. You will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and campaigns for regional and global clients by collaborating with technology and data experts. Building and maintaining senior client relationships, from mid-level to C-suite, will be a key aspect of your role. Acting as a trusted client business advisor, you will be expected to inspire enthusiasm for our team and recommendations. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in guiding your team through complex problem-solving processes to deliver business-focused solutions that drive client value. Motivating the project delivery team to produce high-quality deliverables and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment will be essential. You will also be tasked with managing relationships with internal stakeholders at Mastercard, such as Product and Business Development teams, to scope projects, develop solutions for clients, and enhance the firm's intellectual capital. Providing insights into the marketplace and offering mentorship and training to both internal and external team members will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have an undergraduate degree along with experience in marketing and campaign projects focusing on various fields such as digital marketing, media management, and direct response marketing. Experience in coaching and leading teams across strategic engagements, familiarity with business KPIs and financials, as well as the ability to identify new business opportunities are essential. Proficiency in tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, strong communication skills in English and the local office language, and the ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are required. Eligibility to work in the country of application and willingness to travel as needed are also prerequisites. Preferred qualifications include additional marketing experience in areas like agency environments, search engine optimization, video making, and usability labs. Experience with data visualization tools, supply chain management, and expertise in product, sales, or marketing technology are advantageous. While an MBA or master's degree in marketing or digital is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.
