Job Description

Sr. Manager - Training & Development

Key Responsibilities

Partner with HODs to
identify training needs
and competency gaps across functions
Design and develop training programs
(technical, behavioral, and leadership) aligned with business goals
Deliver programs using a mix of
classroom, blended, and on-the-job methods
Implement
succession planning and career path frameworks
for key roles
Evaluate
training effectiveness and ROI
; improve continuously through feedback and analytics
Build and manage a
trainer pool and vendor partnerships
for specialized programs
Conduct regular
competency assessments
and maintain skill matrices for workforce development
Align employee development plans with
organizational growth and future readiness

Qualifications & Experience

15 years of experience in
corporate training / L&D
, preferably in
manufacturing or engineering organizations
Proven track record in
program design, delivery, and evaluation
Strong exposure to
succession planning, talent pipeline, and HiPo development
Hands-on with
TNA, IDPs, competency mapping, and performance-linked training initiatives
Excellent
facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management
skills
Certifications in Instructional Design, Facilitation, or Behavioral Training will be an added advantage
