Role & responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities: Insurance experience required:

  • Requirements Alignment: Collaborate with Group and LBU teams to understand and align

    Oracle Fusion, across Finance, Accounting

    with

    ETL, Acturial and IFRS

  • Testing Strategy & Planning: Work closely with partners and other stakeholders to define a comprehensive test strategy for products across the Domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Test Data Management: Drive test data identification, preparation, and management across various Oracle Fusion modules to support different testing phases.
  • Test Execution & Coordination: Oversee and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing, ensuring smooth execution across Group and LBUs.
  • LBU Coordination: Act as the single point of contact for all domain spectic test activities, ensuring timely communication, defect triaging, and issue resolution between LBUs and the central testing team.
  • UAT Handholding & Support: Guide and support business users during UAT, ensuring they have the necessary training, access, and knowledge to execute test cases effectively.
  • Defect Management & Reporting: Drive defect triaging and reporting, collaborating with Oracle support, Implementation partners, and internal teams to resolve defects promptly.
  • Automation & CI/CD Integration: Identify automation opportunities within Oracle Fusion testing and collaborate with test automation teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements, and security compliance specific to Oracle Fusion implementations in insurance and financial services.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Testing, with at least 5+ years focused on

    Oracle Fusion Cloud

    (Finance and Accounting). Exposure insurance products is essential
  • Strong understanding of

    Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture

    , configurations, and integrations.
  • Prior experience in testing Oracle Fusion implementations in the insurance industry is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in test planning, test execution, test data preparation, and defect management.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, & Xray.
  • Experience with

    test automation frameworks for Oracle Fusion

    , is a must.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and impact assessment for testing.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, vendors, and IT teams.
  • Knowledge of finance processes and compliance in an insurance company setting.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey technical details to business users and vice versa.

Preferred skills

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Finance

    Certification
  • Working experience in DataBricks, FDL.

  • Knowledge on

    IFRS 17, Actuarial.

  • Familiarity with investment, payroll, procurement, and expense allocation processes.
  • Must have

    Automation on Oracle fusion.
