Role Overview: As a Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, prospecting, and closing sponsorship opportunities that align with our events and provide value to our sponsors. Your primary focus will be on securing sponsorship deals for events/media, utilizing your proven track record in sales. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect and research potential sponsors, including corporations, brands, and organizations, that align with the target audience and objectives of our events. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective sponsor companies. - Create compelling sponsorship packages and proposals tailored to the needs and objectives of potential sponsors. - Present sponsorship opportunities to prospects through meetings, presentations, and other communication channels. - Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with the interests of both parties. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements, including delivering on promised benefits and activations. - Track and report on sales metrics, including pipeline status, revenue projections, and conversion rates. - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sponsorship opportunities to maintain a competitive edge in the market. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand our network and identify new business opportunities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field. - 10+ years of experience in sponsorship sales in the events or entertainment industry. - Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Willingness to travel as needed.
