Senior Manager - Safety

Role Overview: As a Safety Manager in the Power/Energy industry, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations. You will conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, coordinate safety training programs for employees, and investigate workplace accidents. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns, maintain safety records, and stay informed about new developments in safety regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations - Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions - Coordinate safety training programs for employees to raise awareness and ensure compliance with safety protocols - Investigate and report on workplace accidents, near misses, or other safety-related incidents - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and implement corrective measures - Maintain safety records and documentation as required by regulations - Stay informed about new developments in safety regulations and best practices in the Power/Energy industry - Lead emergency response drills and ensure readiness for any safety-related emergencies - Communicate safety initiatives and updates to all levels of the organization - Provide guidance and support to management on safety-related matters Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field - Master's degree in occupational health and safety (preferred) - 10-15 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry - Proven track record in developing and implementing safety programs - Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections - Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the Power/Energy sector - Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor staff on safety protocols,
