Job Description

  • Develop and implement corporate-wide safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the execution of safety programs, training, and initiatives across different business units.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, such as accident rates and compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Lead investigations into safety incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including HR, facilities, and operations, to improve safety protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong understanding of safety laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Leadership and communication skills for training and influencing employee behavior.
  • Analytical skills for investigating accidents and determining root causes
  • Support the implementation of corporate safety programs and policies.
  • Assist with hazard analysis and risk assessments for various work operations.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections, reporting findings and tracking corrective actions.
  • Maintain records of safety activities, including inspections, training, and incident reports.
  • Monitor safety equipment and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance and availability.
