As a Fixed Asset Accountant, your role involves managing all fixed assets related operational activities. This includes creating asset master records, posting asset values, deleting assets, and making changes to asset records. You will be responsible for monitoring the asset master for accuracy in asset class, depreciation key, asset value, cost center capitalization date, and other relevant information. Additionally, you will prepare and review schedules, variances, and disclosures related to fixed assets. Your duties will also include fixed asset account reconciliation and monitoring critical GL accounts for analysis. In terms of book closing accounting, you will be expected to perform variance analysis and reporting, reconcile discrepancies, have knowledge of AP & AR processes, and review balance sheet account reconciliations as per policy. It will be crucial for you to understand stakeholders" requirements, conduct root cause analysis of variances, prepare monthly MIS reports, and identify areas for continuous improvement within your expertise. Collaboration and effective communication with teams will be essential to drive positive outcomes. Furthermore, as part of cash accounting, you will monitor the bank account clearing process and review cash and bank account reconciliations. Your responsibilities will also cover revenue accounting, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue calculation, and after-market/sales service accounting in the automobile sector. You will provide regular audit support during quarterly and annually audits, interact with auditors, and resolve audit queries. To excel in this role, you should have excellent accounting knowledge, be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, possess strong numerical and analytical skills, and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset. You must ensure the accuracy of your work, plan your workload effectively, and be proactive in identifying and resolving issues. Additionally, having data analytics or data science aptitude would be advantageous, or you should be willing to develop these skills as required for project delivery. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is necessary, and fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must. Thank you.,
