Role Purpose

Senior Manager - Purchase

The responsibilities we entrust you with

• Develop and implement

  strategic procurement plans

  tailored to the IT /technology sector, including hardware, software, electronics components, and tech services plus all other functions sourcing requirement.

• Lead and manage the purchase team

  to ensure efficient procurement processes and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with

  suppliers and vendors

  to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Oversee

  vendor relationships, conduct supplier performance reviews,

  and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with

  R&D, engineering, IT, production, and finance teams

  to align procurement with project requirements and budgets.
• Manage

  procurement contracts, licenses, and service agreements

  ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor

  market trends and technological advancements

  to optimize procurement strategies and support innovation.
• Drive

  cost reduction and risk management initiatives

  related to supply chain and vendor sourcing.
• Utilize procurement and ERP systems to

  automate and streamline purchase order

  workflows.
• Prepare

  procurement forecasts, budgets, and reports

  for senior management review.
• Mentor and

  develop procurement staff

  to enhance skills in negotiation, vendor management, and tech product knowledge.

What matters in this role

Relevant work experience:

Proven negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA or professional certifications (CIPS, CPM) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technology product procurement including hardware components, software licensing, and tech services.
• Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
