Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Program Management at Western Union in Hyderabad, India, you will play a crucial role in providing project and program management support to the Director of Strategy & Operations Head of India TECs Strategy, Transformation, and Governance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the workforce transformation program, collaborating with internal functions and vendor organizations, maintaining a comprehensive program roadmap, identifying and resolving complex dependencies, and establishing a rigorous program governance framework to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met. You will be responsible for facilitating collaboration and communication across a global team, driving alignment among stakeholders, delivering program status updates, addressing communication gaps, managing conflicting priorities, and ensuring smooth workforce transitions. Additionally, you will lead the planning and execution of program phases, manage program budgets, oversee financial and compliance requirements, provide mentorship to project managers and team members, and drive the adoption of best practices in program management, change management, and vendor management. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 12 years of progressive experience in program management, a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs, extensive experience in managing programs involving various functions, expertise in vendor relationships, understanding of change management principles, ability to lead cross-functional teams, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, proficiency in project management tools, and relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile, SAFe.
