Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Manager Placements role located in the Kolkata metropolitan area at Amity University. The Senior Manager Placements will play a key role in shaping the career outcomes of students by developing strategic relationships with industry, managing the placement team, and ensuring the highest level of employability for Amity’s graduates.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor effective placement strategies aligned with the university’s vision and objectives.

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with corporate organizations, industry leaders, and government bodies for internships and job placements.

• Lead, mentor, and manage the placement team to achieve placement targets and improve student employability.

• Organize workshops, seminars, career fairs, and industry interaction programs to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

• Provide career counseling, resume building, interview preparation, and employability skill enhancement support to students.

• Track and analyze placement data, preparing periodic reports for university leadership to evaluate performance and identify improvement areas.

• Ensure compliance with university policies, industry standards, and legal regulations in the placement process.

• Innovate and implement new practices and technologies for effective placement management.
