Senior Manager - Operations CHA (NHAVA SHEVA)

As an Operations Manager at NHAVA SHEVA, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the CHA team, managing a team of 25+ individuals across Customs, Port & CFS areas. Your primary focus will be ensuring smooth customs clearance activities for import/export shipments. Reporting to the head of the Imports department, your role is crucial in efficiently managing the team to guarantee client satisfaction, timely clearance of consignments, and compliance with Customs and Allied Act requirements. - Resolve customs queries and stay updated on procedural changes - Minimize operational costs and participate in trade meetings - Define KRA/KPI for team members and conduct performance appraisals - Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment standards To qualify for this position, you should meet the following criteria: - Hold a minimum Bachelor's Degree with a desired diploma in Customs, EXIM, etc. - Be a G or F Category Customs pass holder with at least 5 years of managerial experience - Possess knowledge of Custom & Allied Act, cargo operations, and communication with various stakeholders - Demonstrate strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools - Exhibit problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Have the capability to streamline operations, drive continuous improvement, and reduce costs effectively If you possess the required qualifications and skills, and are ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role in operations management, NHAVA SHEVA welcomes your application.,
