Senior Manager - IT

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the organizations IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Identify and implement technology trends that support the companys growth and efficiency.
• Advise senior management on emerging technologies and IT investment needs.

IT Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations including network, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and help desk for corporate office, regional offices, stores, warehouses.
• Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Project & Resource Management

• Plan and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations.
• Lead the planning and implementation of major IT projects, including new system rollouts or upgrades.
• Manage vendor relationships and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Ensure data privacy, system security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO, HIPAA, depending on industry).
• Develop and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor the IT team to meet evolving business demands.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability within the IT department.

Digital Transformation & Innovation

• Drive adoption of new digital tools and platforms to enhance productivity and customer experience.
• Support automation and business process optimization through technology.

Vendor/Stakeholder Management:

• Working with IT partners and Group IT team to ensure optimal availability of IT system and security.
• Identification of new IT Partners for optimization of IT landscape.

Working with the Sr Management of the company to drive improvement in the product offering.

Preferred candidate profile

BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Sciences/IT with 10+ years of relevant exp
