Job Description

Responsible for leading the HR and Admin function at the mining project site, ensuring manpower availability, statutory compliance, industrial relations, camp administration, and employee welfare in a remote and operationally intensive environment.

Human Resources:

Manpower planning & recruitment for site operations.
Employee onboarding, training, and performance management.
Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and IR matters.
Maintain attendance, payroll inputs, and HR documentation.

Statutory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with Mines Act, CLRA, Factory Act, etc.
Liaison with govt. bodies and handle labor inspections.
Maintain records and ensure timely statutory reporting.

Administration:

Oversee camp operations: accommodation, food, sanitation.
Manage site transport, security, and office facilities.
Vendor and contract management for admin services.

Coordination:

Interface with corporate HR and local authorities.
Prepare periodic HR/Admin MIS reports for management.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA / PGDM in HR, MSW, or equivalent qualification.
14 - 20 years of experience in HR & Admin roles, preferably in mining, infrastructure, or heavy industry.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
Experience in managing large workforce at remote project sites.
Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English and local language preferred.
