Senior Manager, Global Data Center Engineer

As a Senior Manager, Global Data Center Engineer at our global healthcare biopharma company, your role involves supporting the design and delivery of Technology Spaces for various projects such as new builds, renovations, and migrations. You will have direct interaction with customers and stakeholders to understand site business requirements and contribute to our company's Global Data Center strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include providing engineering services to meet business needs, offering subject matter expertise on Technology Space design, capacity management, and project delivery, as well as identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Additionally, you will manage documentation, standards, and project planning while staying updated on industry developments. You will also collaborate with vendors, mentor staff, and use the DCIM tool Sunbird for IT equipment installations. Key Responsibilities: - Support the design and delivery of Technology Spaces for various projects - Interact with customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements - Provide engineering services based on a holistic understanding of Technology Space Operations - Offer subject matter expertise on Technology Space design, capacity management, and project delivery - Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities - Manage documentation, standards, and project planning - Stay informed about external industry developments and best practices - Collaborate with vendors, mentor staff, and use the DCIM tool Sunbird for IT equipment installations Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, or related field - 5+ years of experience operating and supporting enterprise DC environments - 5+ years of experience designing and deploying Technology Spaces - Strong technical communication skills - Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time - Understanding of critical power chains, HVAC systems, and other physical infrastructure - Fluent in English (oral and written) - Data Center Certifications preferred - Experience with DCIM tools and ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence desirable,
