Key Skills Required 1. The DC Operations team has responsibility for 24X7 operations 2. Data Centre Operations Admin plays role with primary focus on managing day to day operations of ICICI Data Centre 3. This person will work with various stakeholders IMSG, Vendors (Electrical, HVAC etc.) and Technology Infrastructure Group (TIG) teams (within DC/DR) to support Data Centre operations 4. He will report into the DC manager. 1. The DC Operations team has responsibility for 24X7 operations 2. Data Centre Operations Admin plays vital role with primary focus on managing day to day operations of Customer's Data Centre. 3. This Candidate will work with various stakeholders COLO service Provider, Vendors and Technology Infrastructure Group teams (within DC/DR) to support Data Centre operations 1. Must work well in team environment with high individual productivity with a can-do attitude. 2. Flexibility to work with teams that operate in 24 X 7 shifts 3. Data Centre Passive infrastructure, knowledge on Cooling / Containment, Electrical power, Air purification, firefighting safety etc. 4. Proven concept understanding and experience of Data Centre Structured Cabling and labelling standards 5. Knowledge in Rack Mounting of Servers, Storage, Network equipment and other hardware 6. Manage partners/outsourcing vendors efficiently so that the outsourced resources are of high quality and well utilized. 7. Introduce new processes/systems and/or redefine existing processes to align with changing business/technology needs. 3. Ability to set processes to manage high transactional oriented environment for seamless operations. 4. Experience of working in a highly robust & dynamic technology environment 5. Comfortable leading in a fast-paced team environment and possess very good communications skills. 6. Vendor management and negotiation skills 7. Rack mounting, Commissioning / Decommission of IT hardware 8. Datacentre structured cabling and troubleshooting 9. Manage day to day operations using the DCIM tools & Preventive checks, Temp, Cooling, Safety / Security & maintain Hygiene 10. Coordinate with COLO service provider to manage Electrical / UPS PDUs, HVAC and other Data Centre performance parameters are monitored and tracked 11. Plan and co-ordinate Maintenance / other support activities (UPS / electrical / HVAC etc.) 12. Compile, maintain and share performance reports and metrics with various stakeholders, on regular interval 13. Certifications ITIL, CDCP, other IT infra professional certifications 14. Proven understanding of Data Centre Best practices and TIA-942 /Uptime and other standards 15. Awareness and working knowledge of DCIM tools 16. ITS AN ONSITE ROLE Position Summary: We are looking for a Data Center Technician to support the daily operations of our mission-critical data center environments. This role is hands-on and will be responsible for maintaining server hardware, supporting network infrastructure, performing physical installations and decommissions, and ensuring environmental and operational standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Key Responsibilities: Install, move, and decommission IT equipment (servers, switches, routers, storage). Perform hardware diagnostics, break/fix support, and RMA processing. Monitor and respond to alerts from infrastructure, environmental, and power monitoring systems. Perform regular inspections of data center systems including HVAC, power, fire suppression, and cabling. Coordinate with IT, facilities, and network teams to support maintenance, upgrades, and deployments. Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and consumables using asset management tools. Conduct structured cabling tasks including fiber and copper patching, labeling, and troubleshooting. Support remote hands activities and assist with system configuration as required. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and escalation protocols. Provide timely documentation of activities, incidents, and updates in ticketing systems. Required Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience working in a data center, NOC, or infrastructure support role. Basic understanding of server, storage, and networking hardware. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic command-line usage. Knowledge of rack/stack procedures and power/cooling considerations. Comfortable working with hand tools and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and shift rotations . Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools. Understanding of IP networking and structured cabling standards. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+, or vendor-specific credentials. Familiarity with ITSM systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). Experience with monitoring platforms and basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus
