Senior Manager - Fund Implementation

Our client is leading fund management company with presence in UAE, India and Mauritius. Role: Fund Implementation Experience: 7+ years Location: Mumbai Responsibilities: With an emphasis on FPI licensing and compliance, will be in charge of making sure that funds are implemented successfully in India. To help with the registration and operationalization of funds for trading in India, the candidate will collaborate closely with Designated Depository Participants (DDPs). The ideal applicant will have a solid understanding of legal compliance frameworks, the FPI industry, and a track record of leading strategic projects and managing teams. Principal Duties: - Oversee the Foreign Portfolio Investor (FPI) licensing procedure from start to finish, working closely with designated depository participants (DDPs) to guarantee a seamless rollout. - Make sure that all pertinent stakeholders, such as internal teams, consultants, legal counsel, DDPs, and outside service providers, are informed in a timely and accurate manner. - Keep an eye on the regulatory environment to make sure that FPI-specific rules are being followed, and modify procedures as necessary to reflect any changes. - Oversee the automation of the current manual procedures for FPI licensing applications in order to maximize operational correctness and efficiency. - Oversee, coach, and assist the group, offering strategic direction and direction for both short-term projects and long-term endeavors.
