1. Fleet & Asset Management
Oversee procurement, deployment, and maintenance of EV fleet
Monitor vehicle uptime, battery health, and charging schedulesEnsure optimal utilization of EVs to maximize ROI
2. Operational Efficiency & Cost Control
Monitor Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), energy costs, and savings over ICE fleet
Implement data-driven interventions to improve EV performance
3. Vendor/Internal Stakeholders Coordination
Manage relationships with EV vendors & Internal stakeholders
Ensure timely resolution of vehicle or battery issues
4. Compliance, Safety & Training
Ensure EV operations comply with RTO, insurance, and safety regulations
Lead training programs for drivers, handlers, and operations staff on EV protocolsMonitor BMS data for predictive maintenance and safety flags
5. Reporting & Data Analytics
Regularly report on KPIs: vehicle performance, cost savings, etc.
Use telematics/BMS data for predictive analytics and decision-makingShare dashboards and insights with senior leadership
6. Scalability & Expansion
Plan phased expansion of EV operations across regions
Identify routes, hubs, or cities where EV adoption is most viableCreate business cases for EV transition vs ICE
7. Team Management & Leadership
Lead and mentor regional EV operations teams
Drive accountability, performance, and engagementCollaborate cross-functionally (tech, finance, HR, legal, sustainability)
