Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to oversee the delivery management of Polymer, Soft, and Rubber Trims in order to achieve Cost, Quality, and Delivery targets for upcoming EV programs. As the leader in this role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery management of Tier 1/Tier 2 & Tier 3 Trims (Interior, Exterior), Soft Trims & Rubber system suppliers. You will support Capacity management to ensure a smooth ramp-up, manage Supply chain risks & opportunities, and work closely with Purchasing, AQ, COC (Center of Competence Engineering), and SCM teams to meet Volume targets. Your technical skills will include a thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, sound understanding of part development for interior & exterior plastic trim parts, familiarity with Tool designing and maturation, mould flow, and Polymer properties. Additionally, you should be well-versed in various manufacturing and development processes such as injection moulding, extrusion, plating, painting, and welding of interior and exterior trim parts. You will lead a team of Engineers for the development and delivery of key EV trims, drive Quality maturation, and deeper localization to meet Auto PLI & FAME compliance. Monitoring and improving supplier parts Quality, conducting gap analysis for Technology upgradation, and de-risking the Supply chain will also be part of your responsibilities. Other essential skills for this role include Problem Solving, Communication, Stakeholder management, Conflict Management, and Business Acumen. The ideal candidate for this position should have a BE Mechanical / Polymer Engineering degree, with a minimum of 15+ years of relevant work experience in the development of Polymer, Rubber & Soft Trims, along with their Tooling and Quality maturation.,
