The successful candidate will lead the design, development, testing, and industrialization of new rubber-based products for various applications such as automotive, industrial, or consumer markets. • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead NPD projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and technical accuracy. • Translate customer and market requirements into functional product designs. • Design 3D models, detailed 2D drawings, and prototypes using advanced CAD tools. • Ensure product designs meet technical specifications, quality standards, and customer needs. • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments • Ensure compliance with ISO standards & TS: 16949, customer-specific requirements, and safety regulations. • KEY REQUIREMENTS: • A Diploma or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field. • Previous (1-3Years) experience in Product development or engineering. • CAD Tools: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent 3D/2D software. • FEA Tools: ANSYS, Abacus, or similar. • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards • Experience in cost reduction and value engineering (VA/VE) • Manufacturing Processes: Machining and CNC • Industrial Engineering Tools: PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams. • Product Validation: PPAP, APQP, root cause analysis, capability studies.Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
