Sr. Manager-Deal Governance
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Review Management
- Schedule and coordinate deal approval calls between Vertical leadership and Sales leadership teams
- Prepare necessary documentation and materials required for deal review meetings
- Distribute agendas and relevant information to participants prior to meetings
- Document key decisions, action items, and follow-up requirements from each review
Executive Escalation Management
- Coordinate and schedule Senior Executive escalation reviews for high-priority or complex deals
- Ensure all required information is available to support executive decision-making
- Create and maintain an escalation tracking system to monitor resolution progress
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on escalated matters
Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain proactive communication with key stakeholders regarding review outcomes and approvals
- Implement follow-up protocols to ensure timely responses from all required approvers
- Track pending approvals and send reminders to maintain deal momentum
- Create and distribute summary reports of approval statuses to relevant teams
- Serve as the point of contact for questions related to the approval process
Process Compliance and Monitoring
- Monitor adherence to internal Deal Governance processes across all sales regions
- Audit deal documentation to ensure compliance with established protocols
- Identify process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
- Create and maintain process documentation and best practices guidelines
- Provide guidance to sales teams on governance requirements
Reporting and Analysis
- Generate exception reports for deals not conforming to standard procedures
- Escalate compliance issues to appropriate management channels
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking key governance metrics
- Analyze trends in approval timelines and compliance rates
- Prepare periodic reports for leadership on governance effectiveness
Salesforce Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement in Salesforce processes related to deal governance
- Identify and implement workflow enhancements in Salesforce
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators to develop more efficient approval workflows
- Train team members on proper Salesforce documentation for deal approvals
- Monitor data quality in Salesforce related to the deal approval process
Success Metrics
- Timely completion of deal reviews and approvals
- Reduction in process exceptions and non-conformance issues
- Improvement in Salesforce data quality and workflow efficiency
- Stakeholder satisfaction with the governance process
- Decrease in approval cycle times while maintaining compliance
Preferred candidate profile
Education Requirements: MBA Finance
Experience Requirements: 5 10 years ( preferably in BPO)
To succeed in this position, you must:
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work with senior executives and manage confidential information professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through capabilities
- Experience in sales operations, deal desk, or similar roles preferred
- Be attentive to details and have the willingness to learn and contribute.

- Be able to adjust quickly and smoothly to changing priorities and conditions.
- Have strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements.
