Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead and manage end-to-end Core HR operations, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, employee lifecycle management, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement while aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, exits, and separation processes
  • Ensure smooth execution of HR operations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
  • Oversee HR documentation, HRMS management, and employee records

2. Policy Development & Compliance

  • Design, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies
  • Coordinate with legal advisors and auditors for compliance audits and inspections

3. Performance Management System (PMS)

  • Drive performance appraisal cycles and goal-setting processes
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure fair and consistent performance evaluations
  • Support performance improvement plans and talent development initiatives

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a trusted HR business partner to employees and managers
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention

5. Talent Management & Development

  • Support leadership development, succession planning, and talent reviews
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs
  • Coach managers on people management and HR best practices

6. Compensation & Benefits Support

  • Support compensation planning, annual increments, promotions, and bonus cycles
  • Administer benefits programs and address employee queries related to compensation
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and support reward strategies

7. HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and insights for senior management
  • Track key HR metrics such as attrition, engagement, performance, and compliance

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Core HR processes and Indian labor laws
  • Hands-on experience in HR operations, PMS, employee relations, and policy formulation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-management abilities
  • Proficiency in HRMS and MS OfficeRole & responsibilities
