Senior Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager at Connor Group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, leading crucial meetings, coaching and training team members, reviewing work, and managing projects. You will be responsible for enhancing your brand, increasing expertise in various areas, and engaging in business development activities. Your role will involve providing excellent client service, delivering high-quality work, and building and strengthening client relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Add value through complex transaction analyses such as IPOs, M&A, Divestitures, SPACs/Reverse Mergers, and Debt/Equity private placements. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical accounting principles, FASB and SEC rules and regulations, and client deadlines and preferences to ensure excellent client services. - Supervise, coach, and mentor staff at all levels, conduct performance reviews, and contribute to their training and development. - Manage multiple projects, coach engagement teams, and own client relationships. - Strengthen client relationships, generate engagement opportunities, and support growth efforts through pursuits and market research. - Interact with clients, auditors, investment bankers, and legal counsel to ensure the successful completion of audits and other financial projects. Qualifications Required: - CPA license and a minimum of 7 years of public accounting and industry experience, with at least 3 years in public accounting. - Experience managing teams, a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. - Familiarity with a broad range of industries. - Strong communication skills, technical accounting expertise, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel are essential for this position.
