Experienced in broker operations, especially Lloyds market processes, systems (e.g., Eclipse, Acturis), and regulatory reporting (UK focus).Skilled in financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities under US GAAP/STAT standards. Proficient in Excel, FX adjustments, and variance analysis, with a strong focus on SLA/KPI tracking and audit support. Demonstrates leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities - Insurance industry expertise (Insurance company lifecycle, Finance & Accounting Lifecycle) - Know concepts of Premium, Claims, UEPR, DAC, CASE, IBNR Reserves + accounting around same - Expert Knowledge of Treaty types - Facultative, Quota share, Proportional or Non -Proportional - Manager should have worked on regulatory reporting specially UK (broker regulatory reporting being added advantage) - Know broker & MGA lifecycle - Broker business nuances specifically Lloyds as below - IBA concept - Software used in broker business Eclipse, Acturis, etc - MRC, EDI, LPOS, Signing Release, Release Delinked Signings, IMR, UMR, CASA, LPAN, XIS, XCS, Stamp decision tool - Client and Insurer statement reconciliation - AVP should understand blueprint 2.0 program (MRCv3, CDR, IPOS, ICOS, PPL, Velonetic) - Broker trust account rules (client money management) - Cover holder vs MGA - Lloyds reporting - Bureau vs Non-Bureau - Delegated authority DCOM, DDM - Managing team and client delivery - Prepare/Review Management, regulatory and statutory reporting (including tax compliances like IPT, FET) - Managing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, payables and financial reporting - Know how of FX adjustments for multi currency transactions - Provide first level sign off on financials - Developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients. - Managing the transition process of new clients. - Drive automation or Process streamlining activities - Provide support during various internal/external audits - Ensure process documents are up to date - Track process SLA/KPI - Ensure process controls are in place - Excellent communication skills - Team handling experience and exposure of working with international clients. - Flexibility to work as an individual contributor wherever required. - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines. - Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. - Ensure all KPI/SLA are met per client expectations Must haves: 9+ Year(s) of experience with Insurance Domain. Experience with Insurance client is a must preferably UK or US. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Familiarity with MS Outlook and MS Office. Excellent MS Excel skills. Recent insurance experience is must. Knowledge of Lloyds concepts, and report is must from Manager and above position. Knowledge of broker business specifically IBA is added advantage till Deputy Manager position and must from Manager and above position.
