Senior Manager / AGM - Lock Bolt

The Senior Manager / AGM – Lock Bolt will be responsible for leading end-to-end operations of the Lock Bolt product line, including manufacturing, quality, process optimization, product development, and customer coordination. The role demands strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a result-oriented approach to ensure operational excellence and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall

  Lock Bolt manufacturing operations

  , ensuring production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives are met.
• Oversee

  process planning, tooling, and capacity optimization

  to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to

  quality standards, customer specifications, and compliance requirements

  .
• Drive

  continuous improvement initiatives

  (Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, cost reduction).
• Collaborate with

  R&D, QA/QC, Sales, and Supply Chain

  teams for product development and customer support.
• Handle

  customer technical discussions

  , trials, and resolution of critical issues.
• Manage

  new product development (NPD)

  , process validation, and industrialization of lock bolt variants.
• Monitor and control

  operational costs, scrap, and rejection levels

  .
• Lead, mentor, and develop a

  cross-functional team

  including engineers, supervisors, and operators.
• Driving sales of

  lockbolts, supporting tools and poerpacks.

• Strong knowledge of

  Lock Bolt technology, fasteners, and precision manufacturing

  .
• Expertise in

  cold forging / hot forging / machining / assembly processes

  (as applicable).

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy Engineering

  (preferred).
• Postgraduate qualifications in Operations / Management will be an added advantage.

• 10–15 years

  of relevant experience in

  Lock Bolt / Fastener manufacturing

  .
• Prior experience in a

  senior leadership role

  managing plant or product-level responsibilities is preferred.
