Job Description

Role:

Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable

Location:

Bangalore

Experience:

4+ years in Accounts Receivable, preferably in D2C/Retail/eCommerce

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (CA)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete Accounts Receivable cycle for offline, online and marketplace business
Set up robust processes for timely and accurate monthly book closure for receivables within defined timeline
Own end-to-end revenue-to-cash / Order -to-cash reconciliation, ensuring accuracy across systems.
Drive reconciliations for all channels Online, offline stores and marketplace platforms and drive timely collections
Lead a high-performing team of 5-7 members, providing direction, support, and performance oversight.
Coordinate closely with internal teams (Finance, Tech, Ops,) and external partners to ensure timely collections and issue resolutions.
Automation & Process Improvement - Develop and maintain KPIs for AR, revenue, and automation effectiveness, providing insights to senior management
Prepare and present AR dashboards and insights to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in managing Accounts Receivable, preferably in D2C, retail, FMCG, or eCommerce sectors.
Strong understanding of reconciliations, book closure processes, and AR ageing analysis.
Prior experience working with ERP/Accounting systems and third-party integrations (e.g., marketplaces, POS, payment gateways).
Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Tech-savvy with a mindset for process improvement and automation
