Role Overview

Sr. Logistics Executive

Key Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

• Manage

  end-to-end supply chain functions

  , including material inward, outward, and inventory control.
• Oversee

  material packing, stock updates, stock tagging

  , and warehouse coordination.
• Handle

  courier operations

  , dispatch management, and coordination with transport vendors.
• Maintain accurate and real-time

  ERP updates

  , shipment records, and documentation.
• Execute

  route planning & GPS tracking

  for dispatch movement.
• Ensure efficient warehouse operations and strict adherence to SOPs.
• Maintain clear professional

  email communication

  with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Supervisory KRAs

• Assign daily tasks to the

  Assistant Logistics

  and ensure timely completion.
• Review and approve

  export documentation

  such as packing lists, BL/AWB instructions, and POE documents.
• Verify trackers, MIS reports, and shipment records prepared by subordinates before submission to the Director.
• Ensure timely upload of

  audited and rectified files

  into the DMS system.
• Guide and support subordinates in coordination with

  CHA, shipping lines, vendors, and transporters

  .
• Conduct periodic meetings to review workload, priorities, and operational bottlenecks.
• Mentor and train subordinates on

  export-import processes, compliance, and documentation standards

  .
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all subordinate activities.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of

  logistics and supply chain principles

  .
• Working knowledge of

  warehouse operations

  and material handling.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and logistics documentation.
• Understanding of

  export-import compliance

  , customs procedures, and shipment lifecycle.
• Ability to calculate

  CBM

  , interpret

  HS codes

  , and apply

  INCOTERMS

  .
• Practical experience in

  freight booking, shipment tracking

  , and coordination with external agencies.
• Proficiency in

  Excel

  , ERP systems, and documentation management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with vendors, CHA, transporters, and internal teams.
