Senior Logistics Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze and Optimize Logistics Procedures:

  Monitor logistics performance metrics (KPIs), analyze data to identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies for continuous improvement in the supply chain process.

• Prepare Reports:

  Generate and present reports on logistics performance, costs, and areas for improvement to senior management.

• Manage Inventory Control:

  Oversee stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, and coordinate warehousing, storage, and distribution activities to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

• Supervise Order Fulfillment:

  Manage the entire order cycle, including order processing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.

Preferred candidate profile

• Accounting Knowledge :

  Accounting and basic taxation background is crucial for this role to ensure strict adherence to complex local and international regulations, including customs duties, import/export taxes, VAT, GST, and transportation laws, to mitigate risks of fines or penalties.

• Financial Record Keeping:

  Documenting day-to-day financial transactions (like sales, expenses, assets, and liabilities) and maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledgers and account books.

• Inventory Valuation and Control:

  Ensure accurate valuation of inventory for financial reporting.
