Senior Knowledge Specialist

In this role at Bain & Company, you will be part of the Product, Practice and Knowledge (PPK) department working in the Knowledge Management team. You will collaborate with various Practices at Bain, expanding your expertise and utilizing industry knowledge across different industries and capabilities. As a member of the Knowledge Management team, your main responsibilities will include: - Equipping Partners and consulting staff with relevant expertise and resource recommendations - Providing front-line support to case teams by sharing curated best of Bain content, experience, and perspectives - Identifying and connecting experts within the Bain network to consulting teams - Collaborating with Information Services or Practice Centers of Excellence to provide consultants with the best consolidated view of internal and external knowledge - Developing and packaging summary documents and providing updated or bespoke analysis Additionally, you will lead the capture and sharing of the practice knowledge base by: - Processing knowledge onto the global intranet platform from client development and case team efforts - Coordinating with other Knowledge Specialists to identify cross-practice content priorities and gaps in the knowledge base - Managing metadata to facilitate user searching - Packaging and codifying the best thinking into insights - Overseeing Knowledge Associate in managing and maintaining the knowledge base Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the practice and broader PPK team by: - Participating in global team trainings, group projects, mentoring, and other initiatives - Assigning, reviewing, and providing feedback on junior practice members" work - Managing day-to-day work plans for junior team members and offering coaching and development Qualifications required for this role include: - BA or equivalent undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials, MBA will be a plus - Preferred 4+ years of professional experience - Intellectual curiosity about change management and strategy execution - Strong analytical abilities and experience in innovative problem-solving - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and attention to detail - Regular user of AI tools with a growth mindset - Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively - Superior customer service attitude - Positive mindset, high energy, and enthusiasm - Strong communication and presentation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word At Bain & Company, we are committed to diversity, inclusion, and collaboration, creating an environment where you can excel professionally and personally.
