Senior IT System Administrator

As a Senior IT System Administrator at Nasuni, you will play a crucial role in leading technical support operations, managing desktop infrastructure, and overseeing endpoint management. You will be responsible for supporting end-users, mentoring the technical support team, and implementing automation solutions to enhance efficiency and security. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth implementation of IT projects and maintain accurate IT asset inventories. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor the technical support team, promoting best practices in IT operations and service delivery. - Manage IT projects such as new software deployments, endpoint management automation, hardware refreshes, and SaaS integrations. - Configure and support SaaS platforms like Okta, Office 365, Zoom, and other collaboration tools. - Oversee endpoint configuration and compliance using tools such as Jamf Pro, Intune, Kandji, and Action1. - Implement automation workflows to streamline employee lifecycle processes and ticket triage. - Maintain IT asset inventories, oversee procurement processes, and ensure cost-effective purchasing aligned with organizational needs. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to propose scalable IT solutions and ensure compliance with security and governance standards. - Serve as the final escalation point for complex IT incidents, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and SaaS-related issues. - Develop and maintain detailed IT documentation, SOPs, and self-service knowledge bases to improve operational efficiency. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT systems administration or senior-level IT support. - Hands-on experience with identity & access management, endpoint & MDM management, automation & integration platforms, and productivity & collaboration tools. - Proven ability to design and implement automation workflows for IT service management and access provisioning. - Strong understanding of OS-level troubleshooting and networking fundamentals. - Project management experience with cross-functional collaboration. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Other Responsibilities: - Drive continuous improvement of IT tools, systems, and operational processes. - Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement workflows. - Ensure compliance with internal security and privacy policies. - Occasional travel to other office locations. - Additional responsibilities and project-based work as assigned.
