Job Title: Senior IT Administrator/Manager

Location: Bangalore

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows/Linux), including cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS).

• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and Office 365 services.

• Monitor network performance, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure optimal uptime and security.

• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and regular backups.

• Provide Level 2 and 3 support for IT incidents, escalating issues where needed.

• Manage endpoint security, anti-virus, and data loss prevention (DLP) tools.

• Maintain and document IT processes, inventory, and configuration standards.

• Support collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other unified communications platforms.

• Lead IT onboarding/offboarding processes, access controls, and account provisioning.

• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and maintain SLAs.

• Train and guide junior IT support staff.

• Participate in IT audits and compliance activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of proven experience in IT systems/network administration.

• Industry certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or CompTIA (Network+/Security+). Technical Skills:

• Proficient in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred, AWS is a plus).

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Experience with ITSM tools and ticketing systems. • Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.

• Expertise in firewall, antivirus, backup, and disaster recovery systems.

• Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools like Intune or SCCM.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Team-oriented with a service-focused mindset.

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

Leadership Skills

• Ability to mentor and guide junior IT team members.

• Demonstrates accountability and ownership in resolving complex issues.

• Capable of leading small IT projects or initiatives independently.

• Strong decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Good-to-Have Experience:

• Experience in managing IT for multi-site or global operations.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).

• Knowledge of automation and scripting for system efficiency.

• Exposure to tools like Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, or similar HR platforms
