Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary:

The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for leading the design process for modular kitchens and wardrobes, from initial concept to final installation. This role requires a creative and technically skilled individual with a strong understanding of space planning, material selection, and design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation & Design Development:

• Conduct client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Develop creative and functional design concepts for modular kitchens and wardrobes.
• Prepare detailed presentations, including material samples, mood boards, and design proposals.

• Technical Drawing & Documentation:

• Create highly detailed and accurate 3D and 2D drawings for production using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar programs.
• Generate a complete set of technical drawings for production.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and manufacturing specifications.

• Project Management & Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sales team, production team, and installers to ensure a smooth and successful project execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from design to completion.
• Review and approve shop drawings and material specifications.

• Material & Product Knowledge:

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current trends, materials, and hardware in the modular furniture industry.
• Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, and accessories to meet design and budget requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on modular kitchens and wardrobes.
• Proven expertise in creating detailed 3D and 2D technical drawings for production.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• A portfolio showcasing a strong body of work in modular furniture design.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Corona Renderer).
