Senior Interior Designer

Job Description

Roles Overview: Overseeing and managing the design of interior spaces. The role involves leading and guiding a team of designers, collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors, and ensuring that projects are completed as per the design and quality expectations, on time and within budget. Job Description 1. Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the design process from initial concept development to final project completion. This includes creating project timelines, delegating tasks to team members, and monitoring progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. 2. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are producing high-quality work and meeting project deadlines, TAT's. Conducts Performance Audit and stands responsible for the training of the team. 3. Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions that meet their design requirements. This includes conducting client meetings, presenting design concepts, and managing feedback and revisions. 4. Design Development: Develop and implement design concepts that meet the client's requirements and align with their brand and aesthetic. This includes creating sketches, drawings, 2D details and 3D renderings, selecting finishes and materials, and creating detailed construction documents. 5. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, negotiating vendor contracts, and managing project finances. Requirements Should have a strong portfolio of completed projects. Excellent communication, team management and project management skills. The ability to work collaboratively with clients, architects, designers and execution team. A deep understanding of interior design trends and a keen eye for detail.
