Senior Interior Designer

JOB TITLE:

ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design Leadership

   • Lead design concepts, space planning, furniture layouts, and mood boards for residential and commercial projects. • Develop detailed working drawings, 3D models, and BOQs aligning with brand standards and client requirements. • Create and maintain design documentation, including GFC drawings, MEP coordination layouts, and finishing schedules.

2. Client Interaction & Project Management

   • Conduct requirement gathering, present design options, and manage revisions. • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure project delivery. • Attend client meetings, site visits, and supervise quality checks during execution phases. • Manage project timelines, budget adherence, and design change controls.

3. Technical Expertise

   • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Revit, V-Ray/Lumion, and MS Office. • Strong understanding of materials, modular furniture, ergonomics, and civil/interior construction details. • Ensure compliance with local building codes, GDCR norms (where applicable), electrical and plumbing standards.

4. Team & Vendor Coordination

   • Guide junior designers and draftsmen for technical accuracy and deliverables. • Liaison with suppliers for material sourcing, samples, and cost negotiations. • Maintain approved vendor database and evaluate new collaborations.
