Infra Engineer 6+ Years

Responsibilities

• Strong experience with virtualization platforms and VM migration tools (Zerto preferred): Proficient in managing virtualized environments and utilizing VM migration tools, with a preference for expertise in Zerto, to ensure seamless transitions.
• Proven expertise in hybrid cloud architecture and knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices: Demonstrates a deep understanding of designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions, coupled with practical application of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles for automation and consistency.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts including routing, VLANs, load balancing, and firewalls: Possesses comprehensive knowledge of networking fundamentals, enabling effective configuration and management of network infrastructure, including routing, VLANs, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning, data replication, and minimizing migration downtime: Skilled in developing and executing disaster recovery plans, implementing data replication strategies, and minimizing downtime during infrastructure migrations to ensure business continuity.
• Familiarity with security compliance requirements across different infrastructure environments: Understands and applies security compliance standards across various infrastructure environments, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization for applications during and after migration: Proficient in monitoring application performance and implementing optimization strategies before, during, and after infrastructure migrations to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Ability to document and communicate technical processes to diverse stakeholders: Effectively documents technical processes and communicates complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
