Senior Infrastructure Engineer

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure architectures across AWS, Azure, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
  
• Lead operationalization of infrastructure including provisioning, configuration, and patching.
  
• Evaluate and recommend tools for infrastructure automation, monitoring, backup, and optimization.
  
• Implement infrastructure standards, IaC frameworks, CI/CD for infrastructure, and Zero-Trust practices.
  
• Collaborate with software architects, developers, DevOps, security, cloud governance, and operations teams.
  
• Coordinate infrastructure design reviews, performance tuning, and risk assessments.
  
• Drive large-scale transformation or infrastructure migration projects.
  
• Mentor infrastructure engineers on modern engineering and operational practices.
  
• Ensure compliance with data protection, IT governance standards, disaster recovery (DR), and BCP policies.
  
• Support incident response and lead root-cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
  
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance (ISO, SOC, HIPAA, etc.) across IT processes.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
• 9+ years of IT experience, including 6+ years in Infrastructure and 4+ years in infra-architecture leadership.
  
• Deep expertise in AWS & Azure, virtualization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  
• Hands-on experience with AWS Fargate, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager.
  
• Strong proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet.
  
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, storage technologies.
  
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic.
  
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards (ISO/SOC/HIPAA), DR/BCP planning.
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
  
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on infrastructure modernization and operational efficiency.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  
• Experience using GenAI for infrastructure automation.
  
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  
• Exposure to DevSecOps and infrastructure CI/CD pipelines.
