Senior Infrastructure Engineer Market Data Systems
to join our global technology operations team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing mission-critical infrastructure supporting real-time financial market data. You will ensure high system availability, low-latency performance, and robust security across production environments while driving automation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Linux systems, networking, and automation particularly within financial or trading environments where precision, performance, and reliability are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Management
Oversee end-to-end infrastructure supporting market data systems, ensuring high availability and minimal latency.Administer, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers; provide support for Windows systems when needed.Monitor and fine-tune system performance, conducting proactive maintenance and capacity planning.Implement and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline deployments, updates, and monitoring.Maintain network performance by troubleshooting multicast, routing, switching, and TCP/IP connectivity issues.Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver secure and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Production & Market Data Support
Manage real-time data feed systems to ensure continuous delivery of accurate and timely market data.Support integration of external platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or other data providers.Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and service restoration activities.Apply ITIL-aligned processes for change management, service requests, and operational stability.Maintain detailed documentation, system runbooks, and operational dashboards for production systems.
Automation & Cloud Integration
Develop automation workflows for infrastructure provisioning and system monitoring.Support hybrid and cloud-native architectures across AWS and Google Cloud environments.Work with DevOps tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins to improve CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum
7 years
of hands-on experience in infrastructure, systems administration, or production engineering.Advanced expertise in
Linux system administration
(Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu); Windows knowledge is an advantage.Strong understanding of
network fundamentals
, including multicast, TCP/IP, and switching/routing.Experience with
automation scripting
(Bash, Python) for operational efficiency.Familiarity with
ITIL processes
and service management frameworks.Background in
financial technology, market data systems, or trading environments
is highly preferred.
