Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Analyst located in Navi Mumbai. The Data Analyst will be responsible for cleaning, analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, conducting data analytics, and developing data models. Day-to-day tasks include collecting data, performing statistical analysis, preparing reports, and communicating insights to stakeholders. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Maintain and improve databases – cleaning, and updates. Build automatic reporting systems and streamline repetitive tasks through automation (including machine data imports). Analyze, manipulate, and manage large datasets using Excel and internal databases. Develop and implement digital tools and automated workflows using Python and related technologies. Serve as the focal point for database suppliers on new developments. Contribute to AI/ML implementation initiatives and improve data processing methodologies. Provide training and technical support to Application Center and other functions on digital tools. Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Science. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python. Hands-on experience in data analytics, data visualization, and database development. Knowledge of materials data, polymer properties, or polymer analytics (preferred). Basic understanding of machine learning concepts. Minimum 3 years’ experience in an R&D function or similar analytical environment. Strong communication, customer orientation, and a proactive, structured mindset.
