Role & responsibilities

Role Overview

The Senior HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities and supporting various HR functions including employee engagement, payroll coordination, performance management, and training initiatives. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment cycle from sourcing, screening, shortlisting, conducting interviews, and final selection.
  • Develop and manage effective recruitment channels (job portals, LinkedIn, consultancies).
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and job specifications.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding process, including documentation, induction, and joining formalities.

HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Maintain employee records and HRIS database accurately.
  • Support in drafting HR policies, offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Address employee queries, grievances, and ensure healthy workplace relations.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary actions and employee exits (resignations/terminations).

Payroll & Compliance

  • Coordinate with accounts/payroll team for salary inputs, leaves, and attendance management.

Performance & Training

  • Assist in performance appraisal cycles, tracking KRAs/KPIs, and employee feedback processes.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.
  • Support employee engagement activities to enhance workplace culture and retention.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 6-8 years of HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment.
  • Experience in manufacturing/Banking/Financial Services/FMCG industries will be an added advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS/HRIS tools, and job portals.
