About The Role

Senior Frontend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications using React.js (or similar frameworks).
• Build reusable components and libraries for future use to ensure maintainability and performance.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to convert UI/UX wireframes into responsive and accessible interfaces.
• Optimize web applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate frontend components with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement state management using tools like Redux, MobX, or Recoil.
• Drive and enforce frontend best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version control standards.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous learning across the team.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data models, APIs, and system integration.
• Continuously monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and related ecosystem tools.
• Proficiency with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Recoil, Zustand, etc.).
• Experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of frontend build tools — Webpack, Vite, Babel, NPM, Yarn, etc.
• Solid knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.).
• Familiarity with performance tuning, browser debugging tools, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in mentoring or leading engineers is a strong plus.
  

Good to Have

• Exposure to Next.js or Vue.js frameworks.
• Experience with Design Systems, Storybook, or Figma-to-code workflows.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of micro-frontend architecture.
