Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst role at Wells Fargo in India involves serving as a strategic finance partner for the Consumer Banking & Lending Finance team. Your responsibilities will include leading budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, delivering financial reporting and variance analysis, providing insights on performance drivers, and preparing executive-level dashboards and summaries. You will also contribute to finance transformation initiatives, support global finance teams, and align financial strategies with business goals. Additionally, you will analyze month-end and quarter-end results, conduct deep dive analytics, perform variance and trend analyses, support ad hoc business needs, and develop business cases for new AI and analytics capabilities. Moreover, you will manage and validate financial models, ensure compliance with model risk management policies, and engage with stakeholders effectively. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 4 years of Finance experience or equivalent, along with qualifications such as an MBA, CA, CMA, or CFA. Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Office, and Business Intelligence tools like Power BI and Tableau is desired. Experience with Essbase, Hyperion, Cognos, SQL, Power Query, Power Apps, and SAS will be beneficial. Hands-on experience with AI tools in financial analysis, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential. You are expected to have experience in Consumer Banking & Lending domain, performance reporting, headcount analysis, and cost optimization. Attention to detail, the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights, and a high level of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting are key job expectations.
