Senior Financial Controller

The Head of Finance at One Impression will be responsible for leading and driving the financial strategy, performance, and compliance of the organization. This role necessitates strategic oversight in Accounts, Audit, Taxation, Internal Controls & Compliance, and Costing functions to ensure a strong financial structure and a healthy balance sheet that aligns with the company's growth objectives. You will be expected to: - Lead and establish robust accounting principles and provide strategic guidance for all global accounting activities. - Develop, implement, and uphold comprehensive accounting policies and procedures that adhere to Indian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements. - Supervise the efficient management of financial information systems to deliver accurate and timely financial insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making. - Ensure timely, transparent, and precise financial disclosures and reporting. - Manage and coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits, maintaining proactive communication with external auditors and regulatory authorities. - Establish and monitor stringent internal controls and compliance mechanisms to protect company assets and ensure precise financial reporting. - Act as the primary controller for maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company's balance sheet. - Oversee corporate taxation strategy and compliance, ensuring alignment with local and international tax laws and regulations, and identifying tax optimization opportunities. - Analyze and interpret evolving domestic and international tax legislations, advising leadership on their business impact and recommending strategic actions to minimize tax exposure. - Develop, implement, and continually refine robust costing systems to provide crucial insights for operational and strategic decision-making. Qualifications required for this role include: - Being a Qualified Chartered Accountant with comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, Indian GAAP, and financial reporting standards. - Having 4-6 years of proven experience in financial reporting, compliance, internal control, and audit management. - Prior experience working in Big4 audit firms, along with relevant finance leadership roles in high-growth B2B startups. - Possessing strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.,
