The Cost Controller role at Kimplas Piping Systems Private Limited - A Norma Group Company involves the responsibility of maintaining and improving the Costing Systems within the company. This position requires seamless integration with the entire value chain, encompassing costing and inventory accounting. Primary duties of the Cost Controller include: - Preparation of costings for products and providing data to Business Development for quote submissions - Active collaboration with Business Development for pricing and quotations - Supporting Tool Room in submitting quotes for molds and components, and tracking actual results against quoted costs - Maintenance and updating of cost data - Ensuring cost roll up activities are completed by the last day of each month - Coordinating physical verification of inventory for both IFRS and India GAAP closing - Calculating Provision for Obsolescence in accordance with the approved policy - Generating product-wise/customer-wise Gross Margin reports - Calculation of Machine Hour Rate - Maintaining routing in ERP - Updating machine Hour Rate - Independently managing Cost Audit - Leading/coordinating the development of new reports in ERP to meet evolving business needs - Fixed Asset Accounting Reporting directly to the Plant Finance Head, the Cost Controller position falls under the Finance department and is located at Kimplas India in Nashik.
