Role Overview: As a Senior Financial Controller at Chain IQ, you will play a critical role in managing key Controlling processes and evolving the Controlling function. Your responsibilities will include controlling in the areas of planning, cost control, revenue recognition, projects, CAPEX, and ad hoc reports. You will actively contribute to monthly closing activities, prepare and deliver key month-end reports, and drive improvements in processes and reporting capabilities. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders globally to support decision-making and drive strategic financial planning activities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage controlling processes including planning, cost control, revenue recognition, projects, CAPEX, and ad hoc reports and analysis. - Contribute to monthly closing activities and ensure timely delivery of key month-end reports. - Oversee global 3rd Party Revenue as revenue recognition controller. - Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. - Conduct engagement profitability reviews to support decision-making. - Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. - Lead change initiatives to improve insight-generation and reporting capabilities. - Collaborate with Head Strategic Finance & Group Controlling, Accounting, CFO, and local project managers as a Business Partner. - Contribute to ad-hoc management reports to CFO, GEB, and BoD. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance or economics with CA or ICWAI preferred. - 10+ years of professional experience in Controlling in an international environment, preferably with a good understanding of the professional services industry. - Proficiency in using ERP systems, reporting, analysis, and planning tools (SAP), as well as Excel. - Excellent written and spoken English skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Effective communication with various stakeholders. - Ability to perform well in dynamic situations. - Proactive and independent work style with a sense of responsibility. - Interest in developing a more strategic and business-oriented approach to Finance.
