Senior Financial Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

Experience in handling Accounting, Financials, Reporting activities of the entity; Support month close activities and year-end close processes; strengthen internal controls; handled automation projects; Account reconciliation; Lease accounting as per USGAAP and Ind AS; Fixed asset accounting; preparation of dashboards and other metrics. Should possess good analytical and advanced excel skillsets in performing data analysis. Oracle ERP knowledge is a must.

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Examples below:

1. Support Month/year end close activities


2. Preparing and publishing timely MIS on a Monthly, Quarterly & Annual basis


3. OPEX reporting: Variance analysis, co-ordination with various stakeholders for final reporting to the Management;


4. Collaborate with internal departments to get the inputs for accounting entries on a timely basis


5. Lease/Fixed asset accounting as per as per GAAP (US/India/Philippines)


6. Account Reconciliations


7. Provide relevant and correct information to internal and external Auditors


8. Automation tasks; creation of templates; run tests for databases; collaborate with other users/business units towards automation initiatives to improve workflow


9. General ledger review; analysis/recordation of monthly entries in close co-ordination with Business unit heads


10. Co-ordination with internal and external auditors in completion of Audits


11. Assuming independent responsibilities for specific assignments and identifying and resolving issues during the execution; Confers with manager regarding problem areas, recommendations to drive efficiency and driving process improvements through elimination of non-value add process and procedures, or other alternative workable solutions

QUALIFICATION:

CA inter, Chartered Accountant, Commerce Post graduate

2-4 years work exp

Proficient in Oracle and MS Office

WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

2 PM to 11 PM
