Lead end-to-end Accounting & Finance operations including month-end closure, reconciliations, reporting, and audits.
Ensure full compliance with Indian taxation laws (Direct & Indirect taxes), corporate tax filings, GST, transfer pricing, and other statutory obligations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities, consultants, and external auditors to proactively address complex compliance requirements.
Oversee and coordinate with shared services teams for accurate and timely delivery of finance processes.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for business decision-making.
Drive process improvements, internal controls, and compliance frameworks to strengthen governance.
Partner with cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, and Global Finance for seamless integration of finance activities.
Manage cash forecast accurately through maximizing collection and better planning on vendor payment.
Responsible to minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations.
Provide internal tax advisory support on business operation matters.
Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters.
Lead and coordinate ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives locally or regionally.
Support the annual audit process and collaborate with external auditors.
Support the corporate annual budget and forecasts processes.

Governance

Ensure compliance with Group tax policy.
Participate, review, and monitor existing policies, practices, tax reporting, filing, and processes to ensure they work effectively, efficiently, and are compliant with local tax laws and regulations.
Provide support with various internal audits and special tax-related projects
